Crash upon Champion Select

So... yeah. The game likes to crash in very strange ways when I get into champion select. First the team chat freezes and doesn't update until a champion is banned, i try minimizing and reopening to see if it fixes on its own, then the whole client freezes and crashes.

I wait again and play another game, switching between the client and Skype and Firefox until its my turn to pick a champion. When its my turn and I un-minimize the window, nothing appears. The client starts glitching out on the taskbar and all I see is a small black rectangle in place of the client window.

Guess I'm not playing for a while.
