[GAMEPLAY] Poppy ult does zero damage

I've noticed multiple times against multiple champions that Poppy's ult will deal zero damage when hitting them, I assume this is because it renders them immune whilst airborne. It's particularly noticeable on low health champions which it should kill outright (<50 health), hard to tell with champions on high health as they tend to be flying through the air. hard to say how often i encounter it,feels very often just to the nature of the scenarios where it's encountered.
