Semi Locked Camera view not working after Patch 7.23

Player perspective: I have played with a semi locked camera ever since season 5 and now it does not work, I cant literally look at what I am supposed too. As you can imagine i really cant play the game anymore like this it is that much of a difference to me I don't even understand why you guys would even break/change this, making me a unhappy player for sure :( Instead of making a wider zoom out available for players (as comentators have in the worlds championships) you decide to mess up the controls that acctualy worked decent?

Details of Bug: Semi locked now is full centered. the only work around (and faulty at that!!!!) is using the lock camera icon near the mini map to give some leeway and enable to make it the semi-locked+locked version of it, but since you cant release space to release the lock you cant see nothing beyond your lock view without going to the mini map to actually click it and move the camera.

This has happened to me as well. I spent about half an hour last night attempting a workaround or a fix and nothing worked.

Same here...I worked aound that by changing the "Toggle Camera Lock" on my spacebar now, but it´s still a pain in the a... I created a discussion on that problem too. Best thing would be they implement a "Hold Camera Lock"-hotkey in next patch . Before the change people could easily use F1 to center champion in the middle. Now F1 and "Center Camera on Champion" are exactly the same. Please Riot!!!!

Same thing here dude, I cant even play anymore, I cant see anything, cant do anything and the game is not fun. I have no idea why they just NEEDED to change it makes no sense at all.

Same here. The old semi locked camera was a very convenient feature. Would be good if Riot brings it back.

Update: You can toggle camera lock on. This helps.

I spent 90 min looking and trying to fix my in-game camera because it's something easy everyone can do, right? And after all my efforts I started to think what could cause all this and I realized "Wait a second dude, there was a 100+MB patch" so I decided to do a Google search and found out that semi-locked camera basically no longer exist. For me this change makes my games harder especially when you use both smart cast and quick cast.

P.S. Maybe this option would be available through RP purchase. Who knows with every patch and season this game becomes more and more pay to win.
