Anyone else having this weird bug? me and my friend are trying to go play normal draft/ranked flex but then this pops up. Trouble fetching information for this player (Error: 5C). Affected players should quit and log back in if this persists. we have tried everything! log off, shutdown computer and in game initiate Full repair. nothing have worked so far... does anyone know how to fix this?

Sneaker212 votesSame here I tried the Hextech-Repair Tool. Tried everything up 2 full reinstall Firewall and everthing i could find. Reseting the IP of my router Fixed the Problem just turn of your Router and then back on :D Hopefully it helps some of u <3 gg´s

Sylvver Raven2 votesSo I disconnected my router, and then connected with mobile hot spot. It worked, and then once I logged out of League and relaunched the problem came back. I then disconnected my computer from my Wifi and used mobile hot spot to launch league which then fixed it.

Close your LoL client Run the repair tool just run the repair tool, no re-install or re-patch needed after it finishes open client, should be working fine.
What I tried to fix this before I did the above for reference.
I did not reboot my pc as I just booted it and tried to play.
TrulyGoofy1 votesLog in on a different account on your computer (like a friend's) that DOESN'T have the error. If your friend doesn't want to log in, make another account just for this purpose. Then switch back to your main account, and it should work. This worked for me, even after i did the restarting router/hotspot method.

I can do that with my providers app and the error message is gone and i can join again in games.

I have tried everything like fixing client, restarting router etc. etc. At the end the router was indeed the problem. But first I restarted it from the browser, nothing happend. Still got the problem regarding the 5c.
But I have a modem from my provider and then my Asus router... I have restarted the modem from my provider, then my own Asus router... then logged back in and VOILA.... back in bussiness. So restart both your modem and router and hopefully this will do the fix.
