lately i have been noticing that every time one of my friends go offline i get this weird effect where it's green but shows half the name (when it happens again i'll post a picture) and every time i make a group i have to close and reopen the list this happens when i move them up and down the list as well or when i add someone new, i know it's nothing wrong with my computer because my friends have the same problems

I get the same bug. I fix it by going to the Friend's Options and toggling "Show offline friends". I just click it so it is checked then uncheck it and my friends list is fixed.
It happens to me all the time and I also do the check & uncheck show offline friends trick, but it's annoying. Sometimes it doesn't even show some online friends...
