I was recently playing ARAM and decided to try shaco as an AP, but I quickly found out that the enemy zyra could trigger it by making a plant next to it. this made AP shaco nearly completely unplayable and if it is not a bug please remove it as a feature because its just plain stupid.
Shaco boxes trigger anytime an enemy with health is nearby.
Zyra plants have health.
This is like complaining that Yorick's ghouls can trigger, or malz's voidlings.
Works fine on Summoner's rift overall. Many champions can oust the boxes, but it helps immensely if you find a way to know where he plants them. On Howling Abyss, however, it's just one way SR => HA crossover doesn't completely mesh. However, to be fair, Shaco shouldn't be as simple as a hide-and-dead champion anyways, so don't play with all your eggs in that basket. Hide your boxes in more unique locations, and put them further down the map to gank enemies during their push so they can't see you place them, and maybe you can get something out of him.
