A bug with Alistar and Thresh

So I was playing a game with Alistar as support and the enemy support was Thresh, and when he caught my ADC (Ashe) with Death Sentence and I rammed him while he was pulling himself to her, he kinda hoped in the air, suspended in normal standing animation, moving towards her like a volleyball. I don't think that's intended, but maybe I'm wrong.
