Random champ select dodge

Whenever me and my friend play ranked solo/duo Q during champ select my friend randomly leaves champ select and still stays in lobby(which shouldn't happen when you normally dodge) and gives a message that a player a left champ select and gave me a queue dodge timer for no apparent reason.
