Disconnect During Game / No double IP weekend

I was in a middle of a game yesterday when my friend and I both disconnected at the same time. I was forced to try to disconnect and reconnect to the game and ended up restarting my client. I tried to log in again, but it wouldn't allow me for the next 15 mins. Obviously when I finally reconnected I was called out for being afk. I ended up getting punished for this. I'm not gonna say I haven't left games before to avoid toxic players, feeders and etc. But in this case it was not my fault and it cost my teammates the game having 2 people dc'd. I hope riot fixes this problem.

ALSO!! because of this I haven't been able to enjoy the 10 year double IP reward because I keep DC'ing from games so I hope they extend its duration.
