Techinical Issues (Mac and Windows 100 [CRASH/FREEZING]
Hello there,
I have been unable to play League for the past few months due to some technical issues I am having with A.) My normal laptop I use at home and B.) My school MacBook Air.
The problem with option A (An Asus laptop running Windows 10) is that I can log in and start a match, but within 10 or so seconds of the game it freezes. Everything freezes. I can't do ctrl + alt + del to get out and I can't even manually shut off my laptop. I have to wait for it to die until I can restart my entire laptop, which makes the whole computer slow as hell afterword's. I'm assuming it's not good for my laptop either. I'd like to know how to resolve this as soon as possible, if there's a way. I haven't tried many options for fear of messing something up, but would appreciate a response. (This does happen 100% of the time now, and usually within seconds or minutes of starting any match it does so. Although I recently tried to launch League and it now says "Pvp.net Patcher Kernal has stopped working".) I believe this is what is happening on my laptop: but I have tried method #2 and it did not work. (That is when I started getting the pvp.net Kernal Patcher error message.)
Option B is my backup, just in case there is no way in which my at-home laptop can run League again. It's a school MacBook air, fairly recent. I've downloaded League of Legends but this is what happened at first:
the League icon appears for a few seconds, then disappears, and then nothing else happens. It won't launch. I restarted the MacBook and clicked on it and I got it to go to the Patcher, but nothing loads. I can't provide a screenshot at the moment, but it's basically the Patcher that's missing the little boxes of info and the 'play' button.
I would really appreciate a response as soon as possible, as I haven't been able to play League for a while now and I'm really missing it.
Thanks!
