Gragas Q ability BUGGED

Hi, I don't know if I am reporting this in the right place (if I'm not please direct me to where I need to be) but I just finished playing a 1:08:55 game, but from about the 35th minute I was unable to use my Q ability. It happened when I Q'd (Rolled a barrel) in a team fight, and at the exact same time got Ulti'ed by Malzahar, rendering me useless for a few brief seconds, in this time my barrel automatically exploded but according to my ability bar, my Q still needed to be detonated and hadn't gone on CD. I waited to respawn and still when I pressed Q or clicked on the ability nothing happened. I disconnected and reconnected twice to see if it would reset my interface but it didn't. Ultimately this made me pretty useless except for a couple of well timed ultimates, but in a 1hr8min game I really needed everything I had at my disposal. We ended up losing the game even though we were clearly winning for the majority and I strongly believe that not having all my abilities avalible to me contributed to my loss. As players yourselves you know how frustrating it is to lose LP due to an error/bug in the game. I was wondering if there is any action that can be taken to compensate me for the LP that I lost, and to make sure this issue never arises again.
