[GAMEPLAY] Viktor Hex Core upgrading

When trying out the new Viktor rework, I came upon myself a bug.

The gist of what happened follows:

  1. Started the game normal as mid lane.
  2. Amassed 2k+ gold.
  3. Buy the second upgrade of the Hex Core item without having bought the first one.
  4. Was only able to upgrade 1 ability as a result.
  5. Accumulate another 1k Gold.
  6. Buy the Perfect Hex Core
  7. Still only able to upgrade 1 ability and my ult ends up not getting it's ability upgrade.

Given that this is what makes Viktor unique, this could become a problem, although I've seen no other reports about it.

I can confirm that buying the first upgrade, using it, then purchasing 2 in a row does not trigger this.

I cannot confirm that the steps in the OP.

I can confirm this as it has happened to me. I bought the Perfect hexcore before buying any other hex core and was only able to upgrade 2 abilities and the ult would not upgrade. Perhaps this occurs when a hexcore is skipped?

Because buying each upgrade at a time is difficult
