After I updated the game to 6.10 suddenly hugh FPS DROPS and the game cant go over 50fps

im talking about i7-4770K with gtx 780 4gb and 16gb ram computer .. gta and all the rest of my games work perfectly just this game has tons of FPS drops after patch.

My friends complain about that too . any fix ? or something they added that should be cancelled ? I usually lock on 144fps and it doesnt move not even to 143

It happens to me occasionally but not that significant. 50fps is pretty low and with your specs. Really weird; you should be getting above 144fps unless you capped.

I have a same problem. I have i7-4770 , GTX 750 and 16 gb ram. I always had over 200 fps with max setting but today it dropped to 50 something.

I feel ya man. This started happening to me around 6.4, 6.5. Spent 2-3 weeks emailing riot support, nothing came of it. I just randomly get fps drops that I can't do anything about (and by drops I mean single digit fps). I heard there's some sound bug on Macs that causes fps drops, but don't know about others that have been documented. Good luck with it.

Hey guys i have the same problem. Since new patch my fps drops hard. i start game with 150 fps and in few mins drops on 30.

Same here, usually 140 fps or so, since 6.10 its like 30 fps all the game, and stuttering in tf ! my friend who has radeon GPU doesn't have fps drops, could it be NVidia only ?

I fixed my fps problem, I am actually the one responsible for the fps drop, lately I changed the power settings to power saving...so now I turned it back to high performance. This probably won't help (cuz I'm the dumy who changed my settings) but I'll say it anyways : Go to Control Panel\Hardware and Sound\Power Options and select "Power4Gear high performance" or "High performance".

I am having similar issue after i updated the patch 6.10. My Ping stays intact but FPS drops drastically from 100+ to 2-10 after every 2-3 minutes and stays like that for 1--2 minutes and this keeps on happening repeatedly, atleast 4-5 times in a normal 25-30 mins game. Literally the game is unplayable for me, i even tried reinstalling but no improvement observed. Things that i have tried without any results: -Defragment LOL folder -Reinstall LOL client -Force repair LOL installation files -Uninstall my antivirus software -close down all other apps while running LOL

I am at a loss as to what to do next. I even got myself a 5 match low priority queue item 3070 just becoz the game is damn unplayable. I believe this is something to do with the new patch and not my PC or internet as they were working fine few days ago. I hope someone finds a solution to this problem or riot releases a new patch to sort this out.

Same here I thought maybe in the 6.11 patch it will be fixed but still the same issue. The game would start at around 70-80 fps then DROP to like 2-10 FRAMES. I lowered my settings to the lowest and still same issue. So i opened my Activity Monitor and the CPU % for League is like 100+%. I have a Macbook Pro btw. RIOT PLEASE FIX THIS PLEASEEEEEE And I UNINSTALLED League and reinstalled it and that didnt fix it.
