Ranked flex won't let me and my friend queue despite being the same exact rank?

Assuming ranked is still down or something but it says my friend and I are too far away in rank to queue flex together despite both being Gold IV.

I just had the exact same problem - we had 3 people, one in silver 2, my wife and I in gold 4. We tested things out and for some reason it was just my wife (gold 4) and me (gold 4) that couldn't queue together. we both tried restarting our clients, but it didn't help at all. We ended up actually restarting like 4 or 5 times and it finally worked... Is there an easier fix to this lol

Well, could restart the computer. Otherwise, you could have possibly tried going to the settings and going to the client and there should be a way to reinitialize the client or something along those lines. It is accessable in the settings even before logging into the client so it isnt quite as hard to find.... but that likely would take longer. Otherwise, there is a hextech repair tool thing that Riot has that you can download and it has some various functions including repatch inwhich could fix it too.
