Sona's Q + Power Chord VS Nocturne's E?

It has come to my attention that sometimes - quite often - Sona's Q + Power Chord damage gets negated completely against Nocturne's E If both arrive at the same time as if they were a single instance of damage - Including Lich Bane AND Luden's Echo. I haven't noticed if Hextech Revolver also procs if no damage is dealt.

It happened pretty much while I was playing Sona mid on my main acc and a Nocturne kept persistently ganking me - sadly - and pretty much dealt no damage to him If i even bothered to Q > Power Chord while getting chased and inevitably dying because I couldn't fight Back. And he got away like two times. QQ.

I would have to test if the interaction is similar against Banshee's Veil or Sivir's Spellshield (Since many patches ago Sivir's spellshield started to block the damage portion of Power Chord, I think)

Also, on another note, Sona sometimes (Sometimes™) automatically powerchords a nearby minion/enemy mostly when clicking on a retreating enemy champion with Power Chord ready/at 2 stacks and going out of range or walking back into the lane. Sometimes also happens while clicking quickly after flashing (especifically when turret diving, it seems. ;-;). Not very sure on this, though. Dunno if it is because of actually misclicking a minion while I'm retreating, or because of something beyond my grasp lol.

Okay just to clarify. I'm going to say that it's Nocturne's w that is the spell shield. His e is the tethered fear.

Nocturne's w works like sivir's e (which is a spellshield as you said) - banshees veil almost rarely does this for some reason though.

Both champion spellshields will block multiple instances of damage (spell based damage + any effects tagged onto it) if they occur at the same time as the spell shield blocking the ability e.g. sona q and power chord enhanced aa.

The reason for this might be the cast time (the animation start duration) of Sivir / Nocturne (as this is the most reliable time at which you can block all instances of damage).

This interaction has been known for a very long time and has been left alone, so don't expect any changes to come of it. - I don't consider it a bug at this point - just an interaction.

For your random auto issue two things cause that: - i've done this as sona too (as well as aa enhancing champs)...

   1. you have auto attack on so after flashing that goes off - sometimes i want to disable it but it's better on most of the time.

   2. There is a setting in the options menu in game that states what happens when you click to auto attack (for the time when you have a slight misclick e.g. you only just click near enough to a hitbox). - it's an on off option or a one or the other kind of thing.

**The two options state that either you:**
A: Attack the nearest target to the one you click.
B: Attack the target closest to you.

You most likely have the first option on for it to do that.

Sorry for the long prose.
