MAC OS ISSUE with logging in

10 months ago I posted a discussion (linked) about a bug that occurred to me when logging in. Basically, whenever I want to start the client it takes unusually long to log in and most of the time I have to try again because the "Exit instead..." message (that blocks any action inside the client) pops up saying there is some kind of connectivity issue. After many tries it then works randomly without any signs of connection issues.

The comment section of that post reveals that this is most likely a Mac OS related problem since everyone who stated their operating system said they were on Mac.

As this is obviously not an individual problem and no one has responded with a solution that works individually I assume that this is something that needs to be fixed universally.

My other post didn't get a lot of attention so I wanted to reiterate that this is still an issue to be fixed.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that my PBE client works perfectly fine and I can log in quickly and immediately even though my connection to the global servers should be worse than to the local ones.

This indicates that this is an issue closely related to the client itself and not the servers or my computer.
