Please Help! League won't launch!

Hello fellow summoners. I came across an annoying problem today. When my league was done patching, I clicked launch, and then nothing happens. I never seem to reach the login screen, nothing happens at all after I click the big orange launch button.

Stuff I Tried

  • I opened task manager, to see if it was running, and it was indeed running in the background, both lol.patcher and lol client
  • NORTON APPROVES. I went to see if my firewall was blocking it but it was not. League was checked to be pass through the firewall
  • I tried re-installing and restarting my pc. Still the same results.

Is there a fix? Wierdly enough, this had happened shortly after I reinstalled my Norton Security System but Norton says that League is a trustworthy program that is allowed to run. Soo.... I'm out of ideas. summoner 3 **Haven't played League for 1 whole day... slowly decaying...summoner 3

Please help! I appreciate any sort of tips/advice that you guys have for me! Thanks in advance!

Open your League folder, and try to launch using the lol.launcher.admin executable instead of the normal one (which is just lol.launcher found right next to it).

If that is no help, also try running either of them in Administrator mode (accomplished by Right-clicking the .exe and choosing "Run as Administrator". It can also be set to automatically do that in the properties section)

Have you tried typing thereisnourflevel yet? when lol derps up for me that usually works.
