Unable to queue with my friends

With the start of the new season on January 20th I am no longer able to queue up with my friends in diamond. I finished the season plat 5, and for some reason the game thinks I am in silver. When I try to invite players it prompts me to invite those ranging from bronze to gold. I believe this has something to do with the new season start. If this problem could be resolved I would appreciate it. Thanks.
