Bug with MF ult shooting onto Illaoi's E

In rank game, my lane partner playes Illaoi Suport and I was MF adc. As she E the adc I started my Ult but instead of covering the regular template my Ult Collided with the "shade" like it was blocking my Ult as a Braum shield would.
