Kalista can auto attack while under the effects of Lulu's Polymorph?

a wonderland Lulu used her ability poly-morph on a kalista and the kalista turned into a little snow man but continued to auto attack and jump as if he was not under the effects of the ability. These autos also continued to apply the rend stacks from kalista's attacks to the target.
