Disconnection from Riot, and queue ban [Client]

I was playing a ARAM and as soon as a was about to enter the game i received a message that stated something like my player profile was being updated to increase my game play or something along those lines i don't remember exactly, it said to re log in around 5 minutes. So I waited the 5 minutes and then when I went to play another game, I received a 15 minute queue penalty, for dodging a game. How is that fair since i didn't even have a say.
