Patcher/Launcer stuck @ 0kbps on downloading update

Hi, I was having trouble updating to patch 5.5 so I decided to re-install the game. On re-install I got stuck at @ 0kbps speed twice and restarted the patcher to have it start download the entire data from first and yet again another third time stuck @ 0kbps. I wanted to solve this and not go again wasting my data so a little googling and search bought me to this solution that worked.

I'll put out the solution just in-case you are lazy to visit the link ;)

When your update gets stuck @ 0kbps do the following,

~ Open Services window:

  • on windows 8, search for services and you'll get "view local services" - open it.
  • on windows 7, search for services and you'll get "services" (I don't have w7 to test this as of now, it would be nice if someone confirms this) ~ Find the "DHCP Client" service. Right click on it. Restart. Click ok when it shows you the programs that it will affect/re-start.

~ Give it a few seconds and once it is done, your update should be downloading now.

I know this is a couple weeks old, but this is the first solution I have found with these instructions. It got my patcher going again, so thank you very much! I will post back again to confirm that my download actually finishes. But all is looking well, i was at 0kbps, did the above mentioned steps and it immediately began downloading again.
