Screen Lock In-Game

In my games my camera has been getting locked onto my champion and pressing the Y key or hitting the camera icon by the map doesn't do anything when it happens - and my y key does work with locking the camera (when this situation isn't happening) - so i know my y key is properly binned and working. I guess it may be helpful to add that when i click the camera icon by the map - it always has the cross over it and doesn't change from that setting. Alt + Tab doesn't work either and it seems like the only thing that works is completely restarting the client - which can be awful when your 30 minutes in the game and one team fight can decide the outcome. Now I don't know if this is a mechanic inetentionly added by riot to stop ping spammers but I just thought I would like to share this because it can be a real hassel for my teammates when one of their players needs to restart their client instead of pressing one key.
