this also affecting me, and doesn't go away after playing a game.

Right, so I have this problem on the new client too. What I did was that I LAUNCHED THE LEGACY CLIENT and bought it there. It worked.

For those with the new client, after launching League of Legends, on the lower right of the login screen, it will say launch legacy client.

I just realized, but I found it. Go to the store under Accessories. It's there.

So I got a mystery champion shard, and it wont allow me to open it and get a random champion.
