Riot is taking the money and running

I just wanted to play a simple, normal, "fun" (even starting to take this term loosely) game of League, when I noticed that there were issues with the EUW servers, specifically that ranked queue's were disabled for an unkown period of time. Maitenance is maitenence, I understand, but there is no way, no freaking way, that Riot has no money to **improve **upon the server that has a lot of traffic. EUW has been in the most sorry state it has ever been since Season 2. I sometimes feel like my pc is the one to blame, but it is all due to a lackluster intrest of fixing the server at its core. I sunk more than 2000 euros in this game, and somehow Riot still finds a way to let me down.
