League causes flickering and overall windows instability after latest patch

Hi everyone, my first post in the community :), So after updating league every time I start a match if I minimize the game or after the game finishes and I'm thrown back to desktop i can't use anything on the taskbar or open the start menu or open any apps and if I open the task manager I can't use it as it keeps flickering, I have attached my logs from the hextech tool, dont know if its relevent but HDR is enabled in windows

I've been having some graphical glitching in the client as well lately. I'm betting they're trying some new 'optimizations' or something.

Do you have an AMD card by chance?

I suggest going to your file explorer, in the directory C:\Riot Games\League of Legends\Game and find the program called League of Legends. Thats the in game client. Right click on it and click on properties then go to the compatibility tab and check "Disable full screen optimizations" or whatever that may be in your language. This will fix the flickering however you wont be able to see your on screen volume or media controls when using shortcuts to alter your systems sound volume. This did however fix the flickering I had in other games.
