Mystery Chest gifting not working

My brother wanted to gift me some mystery skina but wanted to use the mystery chest option where you get a skin that's worth at least 975 RP. He tried and itrue came up with the error that I could not be gifted because I was either not level 5 or I had received my limit of gifts for the day. Neither of these were true and we tested themail normal mystery skin gifting and it worked just fine. Please fix this he purchased a lot of RP just to use it on the mystery chest option to get me some nicer skins. If anyone is having the same problem please vote up so this does not get buried.

It is probably because the mystery chest was only available till jan 6th when Snowdown ended.

I guess Rito has just not got around to removing it from the store or maybe they are going to add it all year round like they did the ordinary gifting and are leaving it in there for the time being. I figure they have just not got around to hiding it for now.

Thanks for reporting! This option will be removed from the store - Riot are aware of it. Sorry for the confusion! EvilScotsman is correct, this option has seemingly been disabled, but not yet removed - this will be corrected.

To get your RP just buy something you want and it comes threw as 1
