"Unable to connect to server" After Champion Select

I've seen people reporting this problem all the time and haven't found a fix yet. I tried to start a game with my friends and after champion select, the transparent logo appeared like normal except it took forever for something to change. Then a black rectangle window appeared in the lower right corner and the loading screen with the champions showed, albeit only three because of how it was cropped. I tried alt/tabbing to it but it never went fullscreen. So I tried to close it since it never brought me to the game and then tried reconnecting, only for it to give me a full black screen for a few seconds, before showing the error message "Unable to connect to server, please retry" or something like that. So I click retry, after a few seconds, it happens again. Tried again, same thing. I tried to close it and reconnect through the client again. same thing. I tried closing and opening the client, even, and that was glitchy too Showed the transparent logo, and then nothing. No client. Tried ending all the league processes and finally it let me login and reconnect. The only problem is that the same "retry" process happened. Currently in the process of reinstalling league. Literally I just wanted to have a fun bot game with me and my friends.
