No Loading Screen

I started a new game of the new game mode to see what how it went, the lobby started, I picked a champion. But then nothing happened, there was no loading screen and it just went to my desktop. after re-logging I tried to reconnect, same problem, I then found out that I can go into my utilities and open the closed client page, this showed a reconnect button, after pressing the same thing happened.
