Client stucks in re-connect. yet the client shows that i am "in game" and when it ends i get AFK behaviour. has happened since patch 9.23 not able to get bug report because the gamelog isn't working either. last 3 games and 3 more before that have been the same. everything works fine in lobby, when game starting just gets reconnect screen. game never opens. again, not able to use bugreport.
I’m also having this same problem since the update now I waited and tried not game and same issue so just waiting for another random update to hopefully fix the issue I guess
Same problem here. everything worked fine yesterday after the big update. something crashed in the little follow-up today (EU-West).
same problem here. yesterday there was a small chance it would eventually start the riot game client after atempting to reconnect a hundred times for 3 minutes straight, but most games just ended and remade, but today it has been impossible to start a game. Now it doesnt seem to connect at all anymore. firewall is not the problem at the very least. Repairtool did nothing, full repair only did its small bar for a minute and did nothing. A full removal and complete reinstallation did nothing.
On i think the first game attempt after the update the client crashed in the loading screen (happens sometimes due to my pcs ram hitting its limits, so not neccesarily connected), but it took my entire system with it which never once happened before in at least a year of it being runing and functioning like that. I had to cut the power to kill it.
I've also come across a couple people in the few games I got to start yesterday that have/had the same issue or know people that have.
After champ select it just drops straight to the reconnect default client window. the Riot client process starts up, but nothing happens with it ever and it just goes stright back to the reconnect screen after a second

Same here. After champ select, usually another League window opens up to host the game, but this time, it just doesn't launch at all. All I see is the "Reconnect" button. I exited the client, signed out, ended the task in Task Manager, restarted the .exe, and nothing. Nothing. Clicking Reconnect makes the client think for a second, as if it's going to launch the other window, but then, it just goes back to the client where all I see is the "Reconnect" button.
Fixed. Seems the latest update brought a firewall issue. I added exceptions/exclusions, there four:
