Can't pick champion in ranked games when modifying masterie page

When I was banning champions, I was modyfing my masterie page at the same time. As i banned Garen for last pick, it was my turn to choose a champion. I couldn't choose one because a picture of garen saying I just banned him was blocking me acces to close my masterie page. I couldnt move Garen's picture that was blocking the "x" icon to close a masterie page. Therefore, I got kicked out of the game for failing to pick a champion.
