Patch 7.10 crashing my computer

I've played 3 games so far in 7.10. The first was fine, the last 2 not so much. The second game had some issue where it alt+tabbed me out of the game and when I tried to click back in the screen was black except for the cursor. The third game crashed my pc completely 3 minutes in. My pc is only 6 months old so there isn't a problem there and nothing but minor bugs have happened before this patch. I'm not surprised that riot decided to break their game once again after the fiasco with forcing player to use the new client instead of the much better old one.
