I'm getting a problem where when I press the reconnecting button the loading screen won't show up while the client just minimizes and it does the same exact thing if I open it and press the button again. This is my first time having this problem and nobody else on YouTube and forms seems to have the same problem as me so any help would be appreciated. :) Or I rage like

My current game crashed and won't let me reconnect. No bugsplat, the loading screen just never came up. I have already played a few games today and nothing was changed. I have tried reconnecting and resetting client multiple times and nothing happens. The loading screen just doesn't come up. On top of this being unfair to my team because they have no jungle now, but I'm going to get a leaver mark. I have never left a game on my own accord. Aside from uncontrollable happening like server crashes or power outages I have a perfect record with not leaving games.
(just made a fraps of clicking the reconnect and nothing happen if riot would be interested in seeing what is happening)
UPDATE i just had to agree to "not leave a game again" so i got punished because your server has problems....

Changed a few things restarted my computer and made sure only essential programs were running still had the same problem. I have played 3 or 4 games prior to this happening and i havent changed anything. I feel if i am to be punished this is a huge lapse in judgement.
im getting the same thing. i already got punished the first time so i feel like im going to get punished again for something i cant control, im re installing the game see if that helps
People with the problem, do you happen to use Avast antivirus? I had the same thing happen to me last night. Avast thinks the league client is a virus for some reason and quarantines the file (or deletes it, if you have it set to do that). I'd check the quarantine in that program.
If you don't see it in avast, check if it's still there in the program folders: C: > Riot games > League of Legends > RADS > solutions > And then just click through till you hit the deploy folder. There should be a League of Legends exe file. If not... that's your problem.
Having the same thing starting last night. Couldn't load any games at all.
If that happens at the loading screen, you need to wait until everyone else loaded for you to be able to reconnect.
This just occurred in one of my games tonight as well.
Also having that problem from time to time due to my unstable internet connection. You have to restart the whole client and then press "Reconnect".
