Could loot boxes drop already owned emotes? Cause I think that happened to me...
I already had a previous owned emote and the loot box gave me the same emote.

Boxes can always drop anything you already own. You're confusing boxes with rerolls, which are guarantied to not give you something you fully own.
Yes, they can, but you can reroll that emote into a new one without having to collect 2 more! (The same thing happened to me a few days ago xD)
I just wish they would do the same thing for Icons... I got one single Icon that I did own out of chests but getting 2 more to reroll seems pretty impossible, with that low of a droprate...
they can drop anything you already own in general.
