Game stops working in champ select

In the last week or so there has been a pretty reoccurring bug where my game will freeze(?) in champ select randomly. it will just have a pick tick down to 0 and stay there until I manually quit. It happens to my roommate as well so I'm assuming its something with our internet but our skype and other programs work just fine when this happens. Any help is appreciated and thanks in advance!
