So i've had lux for a while, and i recently was gifted elementalist lux for my birthday. Today i queued up for a ranked game, telling myself i wanted to play lux. But when I got into champ select, lux wasnt appearing as an option. After the game, i went to my owned champions, and she wasnt their either. When I would hover over the lux icon, it would say locked, but it said i owned the skin. Anyone know why this is happening?
Deep Terror Nami1 votesDo you know if Lux was gifted to you? The usual reason for disappearing content is because whoever gifted it issued a chargeback so Riot removed any content they bought with that RP.
Submit a Support Ticket and player support will help you out here.

Deep Terror Nami1 votesA chargeback is a dispute between a bank and a merchant - in this case, Riot Games. As part of this dispute, the player's bank takes money out of Riot's account and gives it back to the player. This means that an account is essentially granted content without completing a payment

When this happens Riot will ban the account (until the charge is paid) and remove all content that was purchased with the RP they removed. If some of that RP was spent on gifts, those gifts will be removed as well. Unfortunately there is no warning for this to the gifted players; they simply have content disappear without a trace.
This may not be your situation. If you can contact the player that gifted you and ask, that's an easy way to find out, but otherwise you can just submit a ticket.
77ethan1 votesWell i removed the player a while ago, because we were doing a 1v1 and whoever won got gifted. So when I won he gifted me lux. I cannot remember his name for the life of me, so I might try to submit a ticket. Thanks for the help! <3
