Leaving during champ select bug

This is the second time it has happened to me and its even happened to my friends, I haven't noticed anything specifically that triggers it so i'm assumng its random and when it happens it you get booted back to lobby and it says "you left during champ select" when there was still time left and no one left the game it just randomly made us leave as well as giving us penalties for it. Has anyone else had this happen to them?
