Failure to select a champion!

I was dropped from a ranked matchmaking the moment ban phase was over. The reported reason was for failure to select a champion. I still had 15-20 seconds left. I lost ladder points and had to wait the mandatory five minutes. This could be a serious issue for people in their promotional's.
