I notice that recently, whenever I try to log in to PVP.Net for the first time after my main computer's initial start up or a reboot, it will go to "Checking Login Queue...." And then it will say "Cannot connect to PVP.NET" after a short delay.
However, when I try to log in again after restarting the client, I am able to successfully log in to the game, so not a client-breaking bug. Its very inconvenient however.
I noticed that my computer freezes for about 20 seconds the first time I start up League. The first login always fails. Pretty annoying.
Now that you mention it this does happen all of the time...
What system? I've been noticing this occasionally on Mac OS X 10.8 (Mavericks).

Happens to me too, also on a Win7 x64.
same it usually takes me like 2-4 times to log in on my win 7 x86
My current system is Windows 7 64-bit, also behind a router but has no issues otherwise.
