I was given a 2-week ban approximately 1 week ago. I didn't log into my account again until today when I saw that my account had been given a permanent ban. My ban was changed to permanent without my first 2-week ban even being fully served.
Maybe a manual review caused them to decide that it must be escslated due to the severity of whatever you did.
