Mac Client: Keyboard stops working. Mouse switching to attack command. Abilites all autocast.

This will occur during pretty much all my games

  1. My keyboard won't function outside of being able to enter text
  2. My movement gets switched to attack command
  3. All my ablities get switched to autocast.

Sometimes, if I'm lucky I can just mash on my keyboard and functionality will return, however more often than not I'll have to reconnect and it already takes me about 3 minutes to connect for whatever odd reason so it's highly inconvenient. I've tried deleting input.ini and letting the game just patch itself but that doesn't seem to be doing anything. If anyone has any suggestion or if I can get some heads up on whether or not this is being addressed that'd be great, please and thank you.

Had this keep happening to me for the last few months, It happens when you are typing while dead, or respawning.

I have the same issue and I've posted it like 6 times with no response so don't bother trying. It's a bug caused by using all-chat for mac-users, so if you can try to avoid all-chatting. Hope that helps.

And additionally, your cursor becomes red instead of green when you click, Esc and P don't work, B doesn't work, summoner spells go on auto cast, charge-up abilities are unable to be charged (this is the same as if you just put an ability on autocast that's a channel), you cannot exit chat without hitting Enter, minimap doesn't work for viewing other areas, you can't levelup abilities, and if you walk to shop, right click, and hit buy after selecting an item, buy doesn't work.
