Cant login to chat service help !

Perhaps you also have the akamai program installed. It is in the "Control Panel -> Programs -> Programs and Features" list if you have it installed. For me uninstalling it solved my issue with the chat connect and another user also reported success.

Anyway, we have changed the date and that worked, but setting it back again failed, so we uninstalled akamai and it works like a charm at any date. It must be something local that reroutes the chat to something else, since we managed to fix it by removing the route to the cloud caching of akamai (I got a certificate error when I moved the date 5 days forward from akamai, hence my suggestion to kill it).

press your windows key + R at the same time, type in services.msc then look for IP helper, shut this one down, then go to the launch screen of lol, to the cog in the top right and remove the X on peer to peer transfer. This worked for me and a friend.
