Years of League tabbing out while in game must come to an end.

I didn't even know people had this issue until I finally decided to google it because I ran every scan possible to find a virus or something but that wasn't it. Now people have said that the Task Scheduler for Office is the issue and disable it. HOWEVER, looking back at the posts. Most people did not have Office and it still was an issue. So years later, anyone have any idea?

I ran through each and ever task schedule to see what it was that tabbed me out but it's such a hit or miss on timing because there is no real way to pinpoint what time it happens because it could have started at 11:00 pm but you got tabbed at 11:20 pm so the Task would obviously say 11:00 pm rather than 11:20 pm. So if anyone has any insight, please let me know.

Ps. Critical Error crashes are back? Never had a problem until this Tuesday "update". Even more issues, yay.

Do you still run/have curse voice? I would suggest sending in a support ticket but yeah, what i was told (which fixed the problem pretty much) was clean boot the computer. Curse voice seemed to be the problem for me, so when i had ran it, it would after a while cause my league to minimize. I am not sure the technical reason why these certain programs do it, but yeah

Are you playing fullscreen, windowed, or borderless window? Do you have one monitor or two?

I'm asking because if it's borderless window then it might simply be because your mouse is going slightly outside of the league window and clicking on a window behind it; same w/ windowed. If it's happening in fullscreen, check any voice chat program / other gaming program settings that may give a chat / game overlay like Discord, Steam, Skype (it's notorious for making me tab out, ugh), etc. I'd say disable "toast" notifications or pop-ups in those programs, or if you don't want to tweak all of your settings, just go on do not disturb on them.

For league client side settings - before you get into a game, click the cogwheel above your friends list / username, put a check-mark next to "close client during game".

If none of that helps, do a client fix via the same cogwheel settings menu. If the issue persists after all of that then there is a program on your computer conflicting with league or so.

I do play on windowed due to having a huge monitor. I do not run anything like skype or steam or discord. It is all closed. And yes, I disable the feature to automatically start when logged in. And yes I completely understand the windowed part of what you said but I assure you I would have noticed that because when it does happen at times, I can spot it right away compared to randomly getting tabbed and then the stupid window error sound playing, you know. And I do not have curse voice. too.

I will definitely do the close client thing though. But I am sure it's something more Microsoft Windows related because that stupid tab thing happens even outside of league. It's some stupid task that is constantly being a prioritized causing this to happen. It's so stupidly frustrating.

I promise you guys, I wish it was a simple and easy fix but I've been hitting my head for years lol. I do however think if I just played on full screen maybe I wouldn't have this issue but my eyes would be completely messed up in the process.

For the record, I have completely clean reinstalled windows 2x just to clear this issue but still nope. I'm completely at a loss here. But I appreciate your thoughts and feedback, thank you.

What version of Windows are you running? What anti-virus? I know Bit Defender used to tab me out when it wanted to tell me some useless information just to piss me off D: Assuming you actually have an anti-virus, have you tried putting it on game mode. I know not all av programs have it but it seems more common in newer ones. Also. can you post a screenshot of your task manager when you have league open? You can black out the beginning of the path names if you want, just need to see the last few bits w/ the pathname/filename.exe

I really wanna help you fix this :<
