[GAMEPLAY] Devour bug? Purple wolf turns brown

As I'm trying to get my devour to sated, my wolf turns brown, looking like an actual wolf, rather than the usual purplish color. This happened as lulu gave me a shield. My game also crashed like 3 times that game. Don't know if this a bug or what but I felt like I should post it. Wish I could post a picture because I did screen shot it.
