Janna Ult refused to activate [GAMEPLAY]

In the last game I played, Janna's ult wouldn't activate either by pressing R or by clicking on the icon for it (yes, my keys were mapped correctly). Leaving and restarting the game resolved the issue. Unfortunately, my recorder hasn't been working lately.
