Same scanning files bug from 4 years ago

Still experiencing the problem of the patcher scanning files ad infinitum. This problem has literally been around for years. Thousands of people on this board, and other boards, have been telling you about this problem for almost half a decade. It's disgusting and insulting that after becoming a multi-billion dollar company with millions of active users you can't be bothered to fix a simple issue that forces your players to go to 3rd party sites and the discussion boards to find brute force work arounds like deleting the entire filesarchive folder and spending half an hour re-patching. It's also insulting that your staff continues to pretend like this isn't a known issue, and request system information or bug logs from players when they know damn well the problem is not user side.
