Champion Select Crash

Ever since the last patch, in the champion select area after I select my champion. It opens the launcher for the game where you should see everybody characters its just a black screen. Some times it even crashes/freezes and I'm forced to shut down my computer, I've been placed under multiple "low priority queues". I've tried reinstalling the game multiple times, I have also tried the Hextech Repair Tool, but that doesn't seem to work because it just sits there saying "gathering logs" for hours. Any advice?
