Voice chat output not going through headset

My headset is already set as the Default Comm. Device in Windows, with my speakers being Default Device for other playback. I cannot hear the League voice chat through my headset, everything is coming through my speakers instead. Are there any solutions other than "lol make headset your default device then herpderp"? It worked fine for about a week (when I started using it), and with no changes or updates to my system it broke about 3 days ago and I can't find the reason why.
