Client freezes in champ select

Game freezes in champ select. I am not allowed to select a champ in the preferred champions. the countdown reaches 0 and never moves from there. Music still on and I can exit and go the settings but game won't evolve to ban phase or any of my picks actually updates the image next to my name. Happened once and I restart my computer. Tried again and same thing. Had to exit client. Because of that on a 30min ban :@
