[Client] SR games require closing client on load screen

So, irritating problem that started happening from the last patch. Every time I start loading a game on SR, be it ranked or normal, I will without fail stop loading at some random point. Everyone else will be entering the game, while I'll be staring at some arbitrary player stuck at a random percentage - all others will be 100%, but I'm just stuck with this screen.

Closing the client will give me the 'blah blah reconnect' screen, no big deal...but then I have to try to reconnect between five and ten times because League thinks that my internet is disconnected. Eventually I'll get into the game, sure, but usually not until minions/jungle have spawned. Sort of irritating to do this for -every single game- on this map, yet no others.

No firewall, no IPv6, nothing has changed for the months I've been playing aside from client patches. Have tried a client repair to no avail. Anyone else experiencing a similar problem?
